This is a specialised 2-class course designed to teach you how to cook an authentic Malaysian meal with a modern twist. Using fresh local ingredients, students will learn how to work with fresh herbs, the technicality of activating spices by using heat application and the magic of local dishes cookery.
This class teaches you how to prepare and cook an authentic Nasi Kerabu that will taste like it has been prepared by a local Kelantanese. To add a little kick of fusion, the Chef will be teaching students how to prepare an easy smoked beef recipe.
Finally, after completing the cooking session, you will focus on how to plate the dish finely as seen in Malay Fine Dining Restaurants. As they always say, the food must look as good as it tastes.
Just as preparing is an essential part of cooking, plating is an essential part of the dining experience.
