Peranakan or Nyonya cuisine comes from a marriage of Chinese and Malay. If you been to Melaka, you will come across these 3 classic Peranakan cuisine in every Nyonya restaurant and if it leaves you craving for more, come and learn how to make them then.
Acar is often a condiment that goes with the other main dishes. It is a pickled vegetables with hint of spicy and sour to open up the taste buds.
Ayam Pongteh is a chicken and potato stew flavoured with fermented beanpaste and often eaten with steaming hot rice. It’s a dish that brings a homey feeling.
Gerang Assam Fish is an alternative for those who love spicy food. The fish is cooked with the assam pedas paste and vegetables like okra and tomato.
NOTE1: This baking class is for Adults only. Participants are NOT allowed to bring children to the class.
